Designer, publisher, packager.
In 2014 David and Angela formed Blossom Books, with David being the creative mind and Angela helping his visions become finished books through co-edition and license sales. With loyal followers of David's projects, we have titles published in many countries including France, Spain, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Italy, Germany, Brazil and China.
Rights & co-editions
License our titles for your market, or let us place yours in others. We handle the deal from first presentation through to delivered files.
Discuss rightsEvery title in the catalogue is available for translation and co-edition. We work across international and US markets, and we manage the whole arrangement — terms, schedules, and the production window that makes a co-edition worth doing.
Because novelty formats are manufactured rather than simply printed, co-editions live or die on timing. Multiple language editions produced in a single manufacturing window cost a fraction of the same editions produced separately, and we coordinate to that window.
- Translation and co-edition rights across all titles
- Multi-language print runs in one manufacturing window
- Terms, schedules and file delivery handled end to end
Print runs & commissioning
Pre-sale runs of finished hardcopies, and commissioned runs built to your specification.
Request a quoteWe produce finished copies ahead of sale so you can hold, show and sell the actual book rather than a mock-up — the difference that closes a novelty title with a buyer who needs to see the mechanism work.
For commissioned runs we manage manufacturing with makers experienced in complex paper engineering: quoting, prototyping, press approval and delivery. You get one point of contact rather than a factory relationship to maintain.
- Pre-sale runs of finished hardcopies
- Commissioned runs to your specification
- Manufacturing managed end to end, including press approval
Book product design
Paper engineering and product design, from a first idea to production-ready mechanics.
Start a projectBring us a concept, a manuscript or a licence and we will work out what it should become — pop-up, flexi, touch-and-feel, or a format that does not have a name yet.
The work runs from first paper model through to files a manufacturer can build from: mechanism design, dummy construction, and the costing decisions that keep a beautiful idea inside a workable unit price.
- Concept development and format selection
- Paper engineering, prototyping and dummies
- Production-ready files and unit costing
